Dan Normanton's journey from Revive! employee to Franchise Owner of the Year has seen him build a substantial business with the franchise despite having no previous experience of running a business.
"
When my wife had our baby a few years ago she decided she didn't want to go back to work so I began looking into owning a Revive! smart repair franchise because I knew it would increase my earnings," he recalls.
"Having already worked for the company and the fact that I took over a territory where I already had contacts meant I could get off to a running start."
In fact Dan needed to take on his first employee after just three months of trading to cope with the workload. "My turnover for the first year was £144,000," he continues. "At the beginning of March this year I have taken on my third technician and because my sales have gone up I should see an increase in profits. Additionally, in the future I want to hire one or two more technicians to help my business grow."
"The fact that head office does the accounts and administration for me is really helpful. Also Revive! has a national website where I get a lot of my leads from. I have earned a good income from my Revive! business and we have been able to move house recently."
"Also my wife is able to stay at home and look after our child while still helping out with the business by doing some paperwork. Winning the Revive! Franchise Owner of the Year Award was really good and topped off all the hard work I have put into my business."
