Furniture Clinic exhibited this year for the first time at the National Franchise Exhibition and have generated numerous enquiries from interested parties seeking to start their own franchise business.
Furniture Clinic Sales Director Ben Staerck, reveals that the National Franchise Exhibition has been extremely successful. He comments “Only one week after the National Franchise Exhibition and we have signed up a new franchisee who will be covering the North Leeds area. We had previously been in discussions with Philip who has taken the area on, but he had wanted to visit the franchise exhibition to see what other types of franchise were available before making his decision.”
This is a positive step in the right direction for Furniture Clinic who are actively looking for franchisee’s nationwide in order to grow their branch network of leather repair technicians. Ben Staerck adds; “As well as setting up the new franchisee, we also spoke to many very interested people at the exhibition who we’re hoping to hear back from over the coming months.”
Furniture Clinic now have fourteen franchises throughout the UK offering a leather cleaning, repair and restoration service. The company, who only started franchising in 2008 have done extremely well to set up so many franchises in such a short space of time. “We believe the success of our franchise is down to the unique and exciting industry in which we operate. As leather repair specialists we offer services for not just furniture, but anything made from leather, including car interiors, clothing, handbags and shoes.”
In addition to the Furniture Clinic being an interesting and rewarding franchise, it is also has a very lucrative business model. From head office, they provide over 8000 leads a year to their franchisee’s and as the network expands, there is the option for many more. Ben adds; “There are many businesses out there who could greatly benefit from the services we offer. Most pubs, hotels, bars & restaurants have leather seating areas, which become dirty and damaged over time. Replacement of the furniture is very costly and most times, we could restore the leather for about 20% the cost of replacement, as well as cleaning and protecting it on a regular basis for our customers.”
