Two further Sunshine Coaches have been presented to the Variety Club bringing the total donated by Interlink Express and its UK sister company Parceline to 42.
Des Smith, operations director, handed over the keys to the headmaster of St Bernard’s School in Louth, Lincolnshire. Actor Frazer Hines, who starred in Doctor Who and Emmerdale Farm, represented the Variety Club. St. Bernard’s is a day and residential school for 50 children with severe learning or physical disabilities.
Former pupil and World Champion high-jumper Dalton Grant, returned to Mossbourne Community Academy in Hackney to accept the keys for their coach from Interlink Express general manager – solutions, Bob Russell. Both coaches will be used to take the children out on educational and recreational trips including concerts and places of interest.
