MOLLY MAID back on board

Pam Bader OBE and CEO of MOLLY MAID UK has been voted back onto the British Franchise Association Board of Directors, the UK’s governing body for franchising.

This is a return to the Board for Pam, who was first voted on in the early nineties and then went on to become the first female to be elected Chair of the British Franchise Association in 1995.

Pam’s successful business career originated from “humble” rather than “high-flying” beginnings – as a nursery school teacher and a boutique owner – before becoming Chief Executive, pioneer and inspiration behind MOLLY MAID UK – Britain’s largest and best known professional domestic cleaning company.

Under Pam’s guidance MOLLY MAID has grown from a standing start in 1984 to a current turnover of over £12 million. Charging on a per-clean (as opposed to an hourly) basis and providing easily identifiable, uniformed and fully trained staff, Pam found a fertile market for MOLLY MAID. Furthermore 2009 will mark the 25th anniversary for the company in the UK, proving that the business has stood the test of time.

Pam tells us “It is fantastic to be back on the BFA Board of Directors, I am truly passionate about Franchising. This is such an exciting time for the BFA as it moves towards it’s goal derived from the One Vision document to be the authoritative voice in Franchising, and promote ethical franchising in the UK.
