A new home security franchise, Yale Security Point, has been launched by Security Franchising Ltd, based in Widdington, Essex, to capitalise on the growing consumer demand for professional home security surveying and installation.
The new franchises will be available for geographical areas nationwide, with each Yale Security Point Franchise costing around £29,950 exc. VAT but with the potential of up to £200,000 in annual sales at a 50% nett profit.
Security Franchising Ltd approached Yale to license the world’s most famous lock brand for the franchise and the franchisees will focus their business on supplying and installing Yale products, from door and window locks, to alarms and safes.
Announcing the agreement to licence the Yale brand, Yale UK Managing Director, John Ward said: “Our consumer research has shown that more and more consumers want a Yale branded installation service. They know and trust the Yale brand for products but are then confused when it comes to finding an installer. They are reluctant to just turn to the local Directory or local press adverts to pick an installer they do not know, for such an important aspect of home safety”
“In reality, we know that qualified, professional locksmiths do an excellent job but regrettably very few have developed a brand name or have wider recognition beyond local word of mouth. This has left a gap in the market which the new franchise will develop”
“In fact, a number of locksmiths have already recognised this and are interested in taking on a franchise, either to add credibility to their existing mobile business or as a low risk way of expanding into a new geographic area.”
Franchisees gain from an extensive training course, a proven business model and operating systems, plus they will benefit from marketing and promotional support to establish their business. The franchise fee also covers a contribution towards the cost of a suitable vehicle, sign written and branded.
