Graham Kerridge Started His Ovenclean Franchise in 2013

19th October 2017

Graham Kerridge took the opportunity to invest in an Ovenclean franchise in September 2013 and hasn’t looked back since!

After 16 years working in the Prison service, in September 2013, Graham Kerridge made the decision to make a change – he invested in an Ovenclean franchise and hasn’t looked back since!

Ovenclean - Graham Kerridge"I worked for 16 years as a Prison Officer, but there were lots of changes happening. The service I once worked for wasn’t the service I initially joined, so I decided to make a change, and I know that I made the right decision with Ovenclean.

It just happened that I was looking through a magazine and there was an Ovenclean advert. I liked what I saw so I booked onto an open day. I was even more impressed once me and my wife had attended – we left with huge grins on our faces, eager to get started."

Since day one, Graham claims that he’s received fantastic support from the Ovenclean team. The Head Office offer ongoing specialist services in Marketing and Franchise Support. Ovenclean are also the only oven cleaning franchise to advertise on national TV.

"The positive feedback that you receive from customers is really rewarding and make the job worthwhile.

I can’t praise Head Office enough with the support they have given me – it’s been invaluable.

I began my training with a business mentor – an established franchisee – which was extremely useful. From day one, the Head Office team have provided me with emotional and technical support and marketing advice which made the transition from employment to self-employment very easy. They know what you need to do in order to get the phone ringing."

Due to the support that Graham has received and the hard work that he’s put into his business, he’s been very successful.

"I’ve been fortunate enough to be busy from day one, it’s always been a steady increase in work.  It’s hard work but you don’t mind putting the effort in because you’re the one reaping the rewards. With Ovenclean, you get out what you put into the business."

Graham’s life has definitely taken a turn for the better - he loves the work he does.

"The positive feedback that you receive from customers is really rewarding and makes the job worthwhile. I get a huge amount of repeat and referral business. Many of my customers are now not just customers, but have also become good friends."

When asked if Graham had any regrets about becoming a franchisee, he said:
"I have one… I wish I would have done it sooner!"
