In 2016 James Arthur became Ovenclean’s 100th franchisee. James previously worked in the charity sector managing a team of twelve people having also been a professional yachtsman for two years before that, and he is now thoroughly enjoying taking the helm of his own business!
Just nine months on, he was fully booked up - not to mention taking bookings for pre-Christmas cleans six months in advance - as well as being healthier and happier than he’s been in a long time, he’s making a very good living from it too!
James chose franchising as it offered him the support of an established brand name and team of people at Head Of?ce, which you simply don’t get if you go it alone. After attending an open day where he was extremely impressed with the professionalism of the team, he knew investing in an Ovenclean franchise was the right decision.
"The launch of my business couldn’t have gone better! I really enjoyed my two-week training course, which was very comprehensive, and the launch promotion undertaken by Head Of?ce was hugely bene?cial-I was literally manic for the ?rst three months! It was in the run up to Christmas, which is generally a busy time, but it was the perfect start to my new venture.
I really enjoyed my two-week training course, which was very comprehensive, and the launch promotion undertaken by Head Of?ce was hugely bene?cial."
Since then James has continued to market his business locally and is really starting to build a reputation for providing a top quality, professional oven cleaning service, with a growing volume of work now coming through repeat bookings and recommendation.
James has found there are many bene?ts to joining Ovenclean.
"I really enjoy the ?exibility it offers as we are now able to visit our holiday home in Pembrokeshire more often, my blood pressure has gone down, I love being out and about meeting new people every day, and I’ve even lost half a stone! I have absolutely no regrets whatsoever about my decision and couldn’t be happier!"
