InXpress have just been announced as finalists for the bfa HSBC Brand Innovation of the Year Award. This is an extremely prestigious accolade and InXpress are proud that the continuous development of their franchise operation has been recognised by such an important industry body.
The Brand Innovation award showcases franchisors who continuously identify opportunities for franchisees to develop their businesses and operate to maximum efficiency. These franchisors find new markets for their franchisees and recognise that continuous innovation is key to their success as a whole.
InXpress’ most recent development to their online shipping tool – WebShip – has amongst other things, opened up a new market for franchisees as it can now integrate with many e-commerce stores including Amazon, eBay and Magento.
Melanie Spencer, Global Head of Marketing at InXpress, explains:
"We work extremely hard to make sure our franchisees have everything they need to succeed, so to be recognised by the bfa is testament to the on-going hard work of the team at Head Office. In the shipping sector, technology and market demand has changed so much over the last few years, so it’s even more important that we always strive to stay ahead. Our franchisees need to keep up with technology and we want them to have access to as many customers in as many sectors and industries as possible."

The overriding reason that customers are turning to InXpress for their shipping requirements is all about the overall service that is provided.
I chose to franchise with InXpress because it’s like someone’s got their arm around you. I also liked the fact that you didn’t need a lot to run the business. You can run it from home, an office or anywhere in the world as long as you’ve got an internet connection.Kully Sahota, Peterborough franchisee since October 2012
I’ve known about franchising for quite a while and I’m reassured by the fact that 95% of franchisees are still in business after 5 years. New businesses often fail before the initial five years.Bill Carter, Liverpool franchisee since 2008
With InXpress you don’t buy or sell stock so the business has low overheads and you don’t lose money on damaged stock. You’re selling the services of world branded products and it’s much easier to sell DHL services than white van. E-commerce is booming at the moment because more and more people are now buying online.Craig Atkins, Reading franchisee since 2007
